2027 S^N3 Symposium

We are currently at work lining up a full agenda of great layouts, clinics, an operating session, a visit to a live steam railroad, and other activities to entertain you. We will be providing a vendor area to showcase new and used products as well as a contest room for all scales, a modular Sn3 layout and an Sn3 switching layout. During the last day of the event there will be a swap meet with a raffle with great door prizes.

Lots of possibilities exist to visit both narrow gauge and standard gauge model railroads, a prototype railroad museum and maybe even a train ride to the stock yards in Fort Worth. In addition, we will provide some very informative modeling clinics presented by some well-known modelers.

Negotiations are underway to arrange a private charter on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad for Thursday, April 22. This would be a “day long” charter departing from Grapevine, TX to the stockyards in Fort Worth, layover for lunch on your own and return mid – afternoon to Grapevine. This will be a modestly priced extra – fare limited to the first 90 folks to sign up. With luck, the charter may be powered by “Puffy” a Cooke 4/6/0 built in 1896.
